The staff of Hammond Central School is committed to building each student's self-esteem, love for learning, self-reliance and academic, physical and artistic skills in a safe and wholesome environment.

We believe that all students can learn. The example set by the staff and the consistent reinforcement of our standards in nurturing students will demonstrate this. We assume responsibility for inspiring students with confidence they need to meet the challenges of the future.

If you live in the Hammond School District and have a child who turns 4 or 5 on or before December 1, 2024 they are eligible to start school this fall!

Free Rabies Clinic Schedule 2024

All clinics require pre-registration, 1 week prior to the clinic. See file attached for dates and locations.

Are You Eligible For Child Care Assistance?

The New York State Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) helps eligible families with some or all of the cost of child care. CCAP is administered by the St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services with funding and support from the NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS).

Reminder

Skateboards, roller blades and scooters are not permitted on school grounds.
